Set in the village of Ličko Lešće, 10 km from Otočac and the nearest access to the A1 Motorway, Hotel Gacka has its own restaurant and offers rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi and free parking. River Gacka is 300 metres away.
The Gacka Valley is a large karst valley fringed with mountain ranges of Velebit on the coast side and with Kapela Mountain on the inland side. The valley is dominated by the river Gacka which springs at one end of the valley and sinks underground on the opposite end. Gacka is a river located in the Lika region in central Croatia. Because for a large part of its course it is a subterranean river, estimates on its length vary. The overground part has undergone substantial human intervention – before it was 32 kilometers long, now it is only 11 km.
There are some tennis courts at a distance of 4 km from the hotel. Nearest Adriatic Sea beach is in Senj, about 50 km from the Gacka.
Lika is a geographic region in Mountainous Croatia macro region of Croatia, roughly bound by the Velebit mountain from the southwest and the Plješevica mountain from the northeast. On the north-west end Lika is bounded by Ogulin-Plaški basin, and on the south-east by the Malovan pass.
